• UPCOMING: Marshalling for the Russell to Paihia Ocean Swim Saturday 20 Februuary 2026. All in Russell – involves assiting Ocean Swim organisers set up and break dowm, providing Marshalls for contestants and running a BBQ.
• COMPLETED: Waitangi Week Parking: From Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 February 2026 the club manages the parking of attendees to the Waitangi Grounds events. This happends annually and volunteers from Rotary and the public are welcome.
• COMPLETED ROTARY INTER-CLUB SOCIAL: From Crazy Golf to Madly Indian, Thursday 27 November 2027, 3.30pm at Mini-Golf Rainbow Falls Rd, Kerikeri $12/round followed by 2-course $29/dinner at Madly Indian, 342 Kerikeri RD (BYO Wine only). • COMPLETED: Rotary National Science and Technology Forum 10-24 January – Two students from Bay of Islands College have applied to attend the forum.
• COMPLETED: Sandcastle Competition Sunday 4 January 2026 at 11am, Paihia Beach
• COMPLETED: Pink Ribbon (Breast Cancer) Morning Tea Wednesday 15 October 2025. Two sittings for this popular event = 10-11am and 11.30am-12.30pm at High Tide Cafe in Paihia. Tickets are $30 from the Cafe.
• COMPLETED: Annual Daffodil Day Breakfast Friday 5 September 2025 starting 7.30am at Kingsgate Autolodge, Paihia. Raising funds for the Cancer Society.
• COMPLETED: Youth Service project of 224 Rotary Unsworth Illustrated English Dictionaries, 24 Maori Picture Dictionaries and 60 posters across 12 schools starting on 24 August at Bay of Islands College
• COMPLETED: BBQ/Sausage Sizzle raining funds for Bay of Islands Districts Foodbank. To be held during Paihia Jazz and Blues Festival Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August 2025 9am-3pm outside ASB Bank, Williams Street. Share the Brochure
• ONGOING: Maintenace of the roundabout at the junction of Marsden Road, Puketona Road and Te Kemara Avenue.
• COMPLETED: Student team from Bay of Islands College to Model United Nations Assembly run by Rotary for secondary schools in Auckland Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May 2025 Blog Post
• COMPLETED: Collecting during April 2025 – In May we send bags of clean, good (new or used) clothing via racing yachts to impoverished villages in Tonga. There is a shortage of boy’s and men’s clothing. Also collecting your no-longer-needed spectacles. Blog Post
• COMPLETED: Sunday 18 May 2025, Supporting the Hotprintz Bay of Islands Run/Walk Festival with volunteers. So if you don’t want to Walk(6.5km) or Run/Walk (22km) but want to be part of the fun action then send us an email as we need 30 volunteers. We receive a donation for Marshalling that goes to our community projects. Blog Post
• COMPLETED: Saturday 22 March 2025 – Bay of Islands Rotary Colour Run 2025. Starts Horotutu Reserve 10am (competitors arrive by 9am). Suitable for all ages, the whole family – get a family or friends team together (individuals will be placed in a team). A hugely popular annual event – come for lots of fun. Ticketed event.
