Cans for a Cause – A Combined National Rotary Project to collect Cans and other non-perishable food, and donate them to the Community where it is needed. We collected 223 food items in the collection week earlier this month and today presented them to the Bay of Islands and Districts Foodbank in Moerewa. The Foodbank has been operating for over 20 years and put together a huge amount of food parcels to families and residents in our Communities. Special thank you to our collection points at Bay of Islands College, Opua Dairy, Opua School, Paihia School and ITM Bay of Islands, Haruru.
